Kelly Sivo, LCSW
Finding your way in young adulthood can feel overwhelming.
Life between the teen years and adulthood comes with big transitions. College, career decisions, relationships, and identity can all feel uncertain and heavy.
You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, or stress that makes everyday tasks feel unmanageable. Or maybe you feel “off” but can’t pinpoint why—leaving you second-guessing yourself, feeling disconnected, or comparing your path to others.
What you want most is to feel calmer, more confident, and more in control. You want to stop cycling through stress and self-doubt, and instead have practical tools to help you navigate the challenges of young adulthood with clarity and purpose.
I CAN HELP.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Connecticut and Vermont (soon to be New York) with years of experience helping teens, college students, and young adults manage anxiety, depression, stress, and everyday life challenges.
I draw on my background as a school social worker and in-home clinician to provide therapy that is supportive, compassionate, and tailored to your unique stage of life.
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and a strengths-based approach, I help clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, build coping skills, and create balance across the many parts of their lives—school, work, relationships, and self-care.
My goal is to empower you with strategies that not only help you feel better now, but also equip you to thrive long-term.
I support…
Teens (Middle & High School Students)
I support teens who are navigating the pressures of academics, friendships, and family relationships—all while figuring out who they are. Many struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or the stress of trying to meet expectations at school and home. In therapy, I provide a safe space to talk openly, build coping skills, and develop confidence so teens feel more connected, capable, and understood.
College Students & Young Adults
I help young adults who are balancing school, career decisions, relationships, and identity questions. Together, we build coping strategies for managing anxiety, depression, and stress, while strengthening confidence and creating goals for the future.
Parents Navigating the Young Adult Years
I support parents who are feeling overwhelmed by the challenges of guiding a young adult through this transitional stage. Family sessions provide tools for healthier communication and stronger connections.
Adults Managing Stress & Transitions
I work with adults who feel stuck, anxious, or burned out to find balance and relief. Together we explore what’s keeping you from feeling fulfilled and create strategies to move forward with confidence.
Convenient & Flexible Counseling
I offer daytime and early evening sessions to fit busy lives, as well as telehealth (online counseling) for clients in CT and VT… and soon NY, too!
Online therapy makes it possible to get support from your dorm, apartment, or home—without adding the stress of travel.
